Fascinating, absorbing, maddening and very worthwhile.
Fascinating, informative and emotional. Top notch doco.
not particularly engaging. One needs to be an American
Had some new info but it could have been so much more.
A great movie and a revealing history of the tragety of 9/11. The DVD I recieved did freeze several times during the first half but eventually continued playing. [Frustrating]
Only scratched the surface on the major issue of the secret government cover up regarding 9-11 and the hidden plan for one world government..
soooo much more to it than Michael Moore ends up covering in this outing!
could've been sooo much better!
This is the first Michael Moore documentary that I have seen, although I have heard about him. He is much less "agro" than I expected, yet the story he tells is far more chilling than I was expecting. If this firm really is seven years old then why has nothing been done to investigate these claims?
Michael Moores documentaries are so informative, so captivating, so inspriring and so thought provoking. Fahrenheit made me cry. It was so frightening and intense in parts.
Try as I might, Michael Moore just rubs me up the wrong way... Some good points are often ruined by his "I'm so worn out" narration style
so terrible to realise how corrupt and interconnected all these things are. Is at times hard to watch simply for the eye opening and made me pretty angry at times. BUT a definite must see for anyone who gives a hoot.
Michael Moore's documentary style is very subjective and at time a little overbearing, but he is a very entertaining man nonetheless. This documentary falls a little flat. Moore doesn't really focus on very interesting aspects of an extremely broad subject matter.
Really like Michael Moore but this wasnt as solid as Sicko in my opinion. Still a very interesting take on terrorism and the Bush connections prior to the Iraqi war.
the whole world should see this film. Scary!
This movie was so painful i couldnt finish it. Moore's voice overs just make you want to break something.
if you want to read about the war on terror read a book about it and you will skip Moore's rubbish and actually learn something about 9/11 and beyond.
Nothing new here for anyone who was suspicious from the beginning about the US government's motives for going to war in Iraq. One of the reasons Moore is successful is that he makes the subject matter 'entertaining' and accessible. Still amazes me to this day (12/07) how a complete idiot like Bush became President.
Thought-provoking. Thank goodness honest people like Michael Moore are honest and prepared to take the risks to expose the lies.
I like the no-nonsense approach Moore has in all his films and this is no different. Worth watching, with some intersting information presented that you just wonder how he gets his hands on.
What a negative one-sided take - expected more!
This is Moore's best effort, much better crafted than his earlier docos. Highly recommended.
Must be seen by everyone.
Great perpsective on the links of the Bush family & the possible context for 9/11
This is a real eye-opener - a must see.
I love Michael Moore, so found this wholedoco type movie very interesting and it certainly put the events of 9/11 in a different light for me in relation to Bush and his war mongering........
A bit slow at times but captivating
A real confirmation of the evil duplicity of the Bush administraion, and the gullibility of the US public in re-electing it.
Yeah it was okay but not what I thought it was going to be like.
What an absolute eye opener
Not necessarily what I want to hear, but what I've known for a very long time
Just proves that I am intuitive and not just plain "bonkers"
Would share with others, though I am not usually drawn to this kind of thing
Yes a very disturbing film. Enjoyed every bit of it
Please be aware of sudden extremely disturbing scenes from Iraq.
This is one movie which really makes you think!Who are really the bad guys and it just goes to show you how powerful money is. They talk about history with all the kings and queens with all their wealth and their influences so what has changed! The pawns in the game are as always us the little people- scary stuff.
This is probably Michael Moore's strongest doco in ages. The arguments are tight, the evidence strong and the handling sensitive.
An important piece of work. Though not a balanced view it provides an alternative assessment which is just not readily available elsewhere.
Probably the best of Michael Moore's later documentaries. The arguments are tighter and there are less stunts pulled. I appreciated the sensitivity of his treatment of the actual Twin Towers crashes.
Confirms what we all suspected.
This was a very interesting movie, it really gets you thinking.
I wasn't sure if I would like this or not. My eyes were glued to the screen and I have recommended the movie to everyone since watching it.
so was so much I had forgotten about the 2000 election and all that had led up to 9/11 and to think we are part of the coalition of the willing!!!god help us all
Interesting for its depiction of the links between George Dubya Bush and big business interested (particularly in Saudi Arabia). Very biased, as with all of Moore's work, but presents another side of the Bush government that you will not see in anything produced by the White House.
If even half of what is said in this documentary is true we should be very very concerned! Well worth watching.
A bit longer than it should have been but some interesting coincidences revealed.
A very interesting documentary, spot on on the hipocracy of politicians ......
Fantastic - really cuts to the heart of it and makes you scared what those politicians in the USA are up to.
You just know Michael Moore's agenda is just to get the truth out there, to ask questions. Other docos you ask what is their agenda but MM is straight to the point.
As a television producer/editor, I find it shocking that so many people are so easily swayed by this biased look at issues surrounding the attacks on the USA and the subsequent attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq. This is simplistic and emotional and does no service to the credibility of those who hold similar views. The value in this movie is the controversy it created and I highly recommend viewers search out films like Fahrenhype 9/11 or Michael Moore Hates America if they value getting both sides of the stories. If you doubt me, let me point out just one thing as an example - the section where Moore tries to find congressmen willing to send relatives overseas to war, one of them actually did have younger relatives over there and was quite positive to Moore's ideas, but since this fact does not suit Moore's agenda, you would never get to see it.
Worth watching if only to be better informed. This applies a little non-polital reverse spin to the Bush agenda, but does it document a conspiracy or link random facts into a good yarn? Worth watching if only as aprotest against pollital attempts to silence the voice of oppostion. Mike Moore puts his weight behind free speech even if loud and manipulative in doing so.
so much hot air, had to open the doors.
WOW! This movie made me rethink my stance of the "war on terror" amazing!
Michael Moore is very clever in the way he has strung pieces of what HE wants US to hear. Just shows you, anyone can take anything out of context and, with lots of editing, can put together a film that only shows your point of view. Got a bit boring the last 1/2 hour.
Disappointing. The first half is based on guilt by association, and probably unfairly so. Moore is on better ground with the Iraq section. I expected better from this grab bag of ideas, many not well researched or proven to my satisfaction.
I watched this and 'Outfoxed' at around the same time. I thought this was better. The arguements are better presented - however biased. If you agree with Michael Moore - I like to refer to this as 'thinking' - you'll like this, and if you don't ... well i wouldn't bother.
I'd be happier if it was fictional, but it is a great watch!
Typical Michael Moore documentary. Very good.
Everyone should watch this.
Very insightful and challenging.
One learns something new about the Bush Administration watching this movie - very interesting.
This movie made me feel incredibly angry and the whole time I was watching it I was thinking 'and they re-elected this d***!'
Makes you wake up and see whats really going on in politics world...
Definitely worth watching
Moore likes to tell it like it is and the fact that Bush's cronies tried to stop the film is testament that it has more than an once of truth in it.
Should be compulsory viewing - very, very scary
Makes you love the US politics !!!
Moore is dangerous - takes a small piece of truth and builds a conspiracy around it. He is doing exactly what he is accusing the US govt of doing, and the weak minded buy into his drivel. Watch this to decide for yourself, but expect to be intellectually offended.
Very interesting insight to 9/11, American politics, business interests and the links between Bin Ladan and the Bush family over many years. Insightful but need to remember this is one persons point of view and someone making a career out of President, Politics and Corporation bashing. Watch it and then question it and see what you think!
A fat-arsed, gun-owning, dear-shooting, self-righteous American, warning us about other fat-arsed,gun-owning, dear-shooting, self-righteous American's. Need I say Moore? Perhaps, the only reason to watch this is to see just how overblown most reviews have been. All the same, I am tempted to say 'don't bother'.
How did George Bush get voted back in after this film? Probably only because no-one voted for John Kerry because he looks like a Ken Doll gone mad! A shocking insight into the lies about 9/11 and the subsequent invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. No wonder they never invade Saudi Arabia ... they provide too much income for the Bush family...
A factual look at the intrigues of the Bush administration
Excellent. Gives a case why Bush went to war with Saddam over oil, but we already knew that. Also touches on Sept 9/11 and Bin Laden Family ties with Bush and Co.
An interesting and easy movie to watch. This is much closer to the truth than most people would care to believe.
This film provides an alternative explaination to American foreign policy in the years post 9/11.
Selected information is presented that infers the Presidential response was motivated by greed ,arrogance, cronyism and retention of power, in other words, non of the altuistic characterisitcs one is led to believe.
The films conspiracy theory theme is tainted somewhat with irrelevant personal attacks on President Bush , but overall it successfully presents a glimpse of an alltogether more corrupt state of affairs.
Very interesting and often frightening information but I'm too much of a sceptic to appreciate the full impact of what it was all about.
Very slow and biased although actual footage is used and facts appear true.
Another point of view is presented. An interesting watch.
