Tiresome, predictable action movie stuffed so full of cliches it's almost a marvel to behold. Car crash entertainment really. Basically, Stallone leads a group of geriatric multimillionaire mercenaries into battle against an entire army of tinpot dictatorship goons who can't shoot straight or wield knives. The performances are wooded (if not arthritic), the plot is absurd, and the dialogue is so packed full of one-liners that fall flat it's a wonder they even bothered. Full marks to the stunt team and the fight choreographers, but beyond this there is nothing worth wasting two hours for here. Rent a classic like Kill Bill or Total Recall instead.

The story and acting were sub par. I managed to get to the end, but it felt like a matter of going through the motions. I felt no investment in the movie nor did I feel like there was any real reason to care for any of the key story members. In general it seems like a cast of washed up actors trying to resurrect their careers off the back of some younger actors. One scene in particular with Arnie, Sly and Bruce Willis just made me cringe all the way through it.

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke. Didn't see this one got this for the other half said it was okay. I believe the story is about an assignment to take out a corrupt military leader if this helps.

A good collection of action stars can't save this movie from the blatant lack of plot or character development. Some good action sequences (I always like it when you can tell who's-who in a punch up) and lots of over the top explosions, but still no real storyline. The casting of Schwarzenegger and Willis for the 'job interview' scene was an obvious ploy to get viewers by having three of the worlds biggest action hero's in the same scene, even though it's a 2 mins long conversation. I didn't expect much, and it met my expectations.

OK, the films not brilliant, but I didn't really expect it to be. There are plenty of over the top mind numbing action bits and the film is generally watchable, just don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

Yeah ... as expected ... don't bother. I did think it this MAY be funny - it did try to be - but wasn't. The majority of it is in the dark and well, it was just really, really pathetic rubbish.
