Director: Nathan Frankowski
Actor: Ben Stein

Big science has expelled smart new ideas from the classroom ... What they forgot is that every generation has its Rebel! That rebel, Ben Stein (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) travels the world on his quest, and learns an awe-inspiring truth … that educators and scientists are being ridiculed, denied tenure and even fired – for the crime of merely believing that there might be evidence of design in nature, and that perhaps life is not just the result of accidental, random chance. The burning question is: is life purposeful, and intelligently designed? Or is it random and purposeless? Looking to scientists on both sides of the issue.. and revealing some truly shocking answers, "Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed" stormed the U.S. Box Office making it's mark as the #12 biggest documentary in movie history.

Thank God for Rick Stein and his tireless investigation into this cover-up. Some very sobering findings about the state of science in America, with the rest of the Western world surely on their heels. I learned heaps and believe every single person with minimal -, as well maximum intelligence should see this! Parents owe it to their kids!

Cheech and Chong make more intellectual films than this. This "documentary" is a push for intelligent design to be taught in the education system, yet it makes no case for why. From beginning to end it is a sensational and completely unscientific attack on Darwinism.

Absolute rubbish - and, by the way, Darwin's theory is no longer a theory - it has been proved, which is more than can be said for creationism. I'd rather believe in Harry Potter!

An engaging and stimulating discussion of intellectual freedom. The basis of the debate is Intelligence in Design versus Darwin and Dawkins, but the core is the narrow-mindedness of Scientific discussion over the last 60 years. When only some positions are welcome, all positions are in danger. I wonder where else this sort of denigration of cultural and academic freedom is allowed. It's not about the Science, (or the Theology), well done Ben.

Absolute drivel. These intelligent design folk are so desperate to push religious agendas they manipulate facts and straight out lie to get their way. Avoid this nonsense like the plague.

This movie is a ridiculous load of nonsense. Anyone with half a brain can see that it isn't a serious attempt to explore the subject. Ben Stein is a ludicrous fool and one hopeless actor. It's a setup to make Intelligent Design respectable and push the agenda of religionists who want to infiltrate the education system and warp people's minds. Stay well away from it and don't let your kids see it.

Very interesting. If you are into academical things at all, go for this one. It is true, evolutionists foam at the mouth at the mere mention of intelligent design. The reason is that they can't refute it.

Very important documentary to realise what kind of mindset actually causes evil in this world and it still dominates the education system in the Western world.

Very interesting documentary that gives the story of both sides of the evolution argument. How can you make a decision on where you stand on the topic if you aren't given the opportunity to hear both to choose for yourself. Highly recommend this dvd.
