Actors: Burt Reynolds, Woody Allen, Gene Wilder, Lynn Redgrave, Tony Randall, John Carradine, Anthony Quayle, Louise Lasser, Lou Jacobi

Woody Allen pushes the frontiers of comedy by consolidating his madcap sensibility and wickedly funny irreverence with his developing penchant for visually arresting humour. Giving complete indulgence to the zany eccentricity of his medium, Allen reveals himself as a filmmaker of "wit, sophistication and comic insight" (Cue). Allen rises to the occasion with several hysterical vignettes that probe sexuality's stickiest issues! Aphrodisiacs prove effective for a court jester (Allen) who finds the key to the Queen's (Lynn Redgrave) heart - but learns that the key to her chastity belt might be more useful. Unnatural acts get wild and wooly when a good doctor (Gene Wilder) falls for a fickle sheep. Jack Barry gives fetishish 20 questions on a wacky TV show called "What's My Perversion?" Sex-research goes under the microscope when a mad scientist (John Carradine) unleashes a monstrous, marauding breast. And the absurdity comes to a frenzied climax with Tony Randall, Burt Reynolds and Allen as sperm...having second thoughts about ejaculation!

Very dated. Also quite short, which was probably a good thing. The humour in this doesn't pass muster today.

It's worth a look if you're into silliness and like film history. It's worth a look just to see Woody Allen as a neurotic sperm.

Quite dated now - however the black comedy with mel brooks is a hoot! If you have a penchant for random, unconventional humour, then worth a look

Chuckles galore, and some really good trick photography. Woody Allen wrote an excellent script, and acted it out very well, aided by some very good helping actors. Some of the material was funnier than others, of course, but all in all a good romp.

Am I worthy to write a review of one of the great master's films? Although very dated by today's overt sexual mores, there was some great comedy seeing Gene Wilder, Burt Reynolds et al in unusual situations. Thought the marauding breast vignette was crass, but overall some subtle laughs.

Woody Allen goes lowbrow by cashing in on the sexual revolution. A few cheap laughs but overall its a pretty lame effort which comes across as a bit quaint these days.

Some very funny moments, some not so funny just weird. The best sketch in the film would have to be "What Happens During Ejaculation" complete with Allen dressed up as a nervous sperm with parachute.. this scene had me in stitches.

These Woody Allen fans think Woody enjoyed the biggest laugh when putting together all of the unusable footage from the bottom drawer and disguising it as a movie.
