A classic Disney animated fairy tale meets with the modern, live-action romantic comedy in Walt Disney Pictures' Enchanted. Featuring an all-star Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, the film follows the beautiful princess Giselle (Amy Adams) as she is banished by an evil queen (Susan Sarandon) from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) who has come to her aid - even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince (James Marsden) back home - she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

Didn't enjoy as much as I thought. Amy Adams the best part of it. Not bad....but not the best.

This is a perfect family film! We had three generations from a 70 year old down to my 3 year old watching this and everyone loved it so much we all watched it again the next day. It is sweet, joyful, funny, wholesome and uplifting! My 6 year old son keeps singing the songs - our very own funny prince charming!

Absolutely brilliant film. I love the way that it tries to mess with the stereotypes that you would find in ordinary fairytales. I really hope this becomes a kids' classic in years to come.

This is hilarious when the cartoon character actually talks in the real world. Good for a light hearted family movie.

Oh this is pure joy! Forget that it's Disney. My 8-yr old and I adored this movie especially the ending (who ends up with who) and that the characters come through from a cartoon into real life. The singing and dance numbers are fantastic, Amy's dresses are gorgeous, she's gorgeous, the intentional over-acting is wonderful (get the drift) and the 4 main characters are perfectly cast. The CGI is very well done and the bonus section is worth watching too. Very highly recommended, particularly for 8-year old girls who watch too much Bratz/Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana/tweens behaving badly etc (and who need to watch something so nice).

A lovely film. Amy Adams was gorgeous. The mix of animation and real life action was brilliant; very interesting to watch the 'extras' to see how some of the special effects were created.

I really liked this movie. Just having been to Disneyland it was great to watch something that was 100% disney. Elements from all the classic Disney animated films are combined into this animated / live action film which really is fun to watch. Theres the princess, the prince, the witch, the evil step-mother, magic, dancing, singing. It has everything everyone of every age will love about this film. I give it 4/5 stars.

I just adore Disney movies, this would have gotten a 5 from me if it didnt trail off so much at the end. I love the encorporation of all other Disney tales and it reminded me how long its been since i watched a real Disney cartoon! Great cast and very fun.

A curious mix of Snow White and Cinderella - just to confuse the young generation... A nice and rather simple blonde steals the boy from a smart brunette, who gets the consolation prize in the form of a fairly dumb prince. (Being a grown-up, I should not be writing this review!)

If you watch this movie in the way it is intended, then you will have an enjoyable experience. A clever way by Disney to present an old classic, which is easy to watch. Good for older kids too!
