On the way home, Drew meets a flight attendant, Claire Colburn, with whom he falls in love, in a romance that helps his life get back on track.

A Cameron Crowe rom com. Quirky in parts and possibly a bit slow. All works out well in the end. Good lead roles.

I love this movie! It's the one I put on when I feel like a more serious chick flick of a night.

Bit bland. Was like director couldn't decide if the movie was about love, loss, failure or great characters so nothing really shined. Pitty, lots of great actors and parts but the story didn't leap off the screen and grab you.

Enjoyable feel-good movie. I could have watched it again - didn't - but could have. Nice simple story with fun characters.

Fairly sad and depressing. Not very entertaining. That all-night mobile to mobile call must have cost a fortune!

movie was all over the place- trying to do too much and not doing any of it, really. and i still don't get the whole orlando bloom thing- i think he is simply a better version of keanu reeves, and that's not saying much.

I generally like Crowe but this felt just a little contrived. Nice story with a "happy" ending - typical hollywood fare with pretty actors etc etc.

The film looks great and is shot well but is just too contrived. Orlando bloom is blah, probably the 'best' he has been in his short career. Its cute and aimed to be warm and fuzzy but it didn't draw me in. Check it out and write your own review.

I couldn't think of something worse to do with my time, this movie was a big let down, the storyline left a lot to be desired.

This movie was totally random. The characters were all over the place and I couldn't relate to any of them or their behaviours/reactions to events throughout the movie. I watched this with another girlfriend and we both gave the movie 1 star.

I liked the road trip and the scattering of the ashes. A really nice tribute to his dad. Also, a poignant reminder not to put things off before its too late.

This movie was so unrealistic. I couldn't even get through the whole thing even though Orlando is in it coz I was bored.

Very sweet movie. Certainly not a blockbuster, but if you love Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst, you will love them together in this film. It's one of those movies that you just watch to 'enjoy the journey' of the characters. The ending was a bit more abrupt than I would have liked, and its no 'edge of your seat' type movie, but its just nice and enjoyable. Watch it with a loved one.

definately a girlie flick but with a slightly unusual storyline. Its entertaining and with a lighthearted approach to the whole death plot.

Undoubtedly one of the worst scripts every written and a complete and utter waste of acting talent. Wash the cat instead of watching it.

Could not get into this, though I tried twice to watch it. Unrealistic characters, devoid of personality. Not my thing at all. I always like Kirsten Dunst, but this was a waste....

A light comedy which pushes the boundaries of credibility. Pick up truck loads of southern good old boys and girls who are true to stereotype. Burial in the centuries old family plot in Kentucky or scattering the ashes of the deceased on the waters of Oregon: that's the plot! A cutesy airline stewardess blond keeps the deceased's son alert, awake but forgetful as dad's ashes ashes end up at the bridal table of a wedding reception. The grieving widow succumbs to southern charm and the deceased's empty coffin is interred in the family plot and his ashes scattered along the highways, byways and waterways of the Good Ol USA. Everybody's happy! Forgettable performances by the stars [what are their names?] Good viewing on a raining evening when you are too tired to think.

Silly, self conscious, contrived and over long. The Lead-actors specialise in inane grinning and little else. Other characters seem meaningless to the story.

Didn't enjoy this movie. It is boring to begin with and boring to end with. Didn't draw me in & I thought the key point wasn't expressed very well. The only thing that kept me watching was lovely Orlando Bloom.

A good story line of how the son in particular prepares for his fathers funeral, but with some bad American excesses this movie goes close but fails to get you interested.
