Once upon a time in a castle high on a hill lived an inventor whose greatest creation was named Edward. Although Edward had an irresistible charm, he wasn't quite perfect. The inventor's sudden death left him unfinished, with sharp shears of metal for hands. Edward lived alone in the darkness until one day a kind Avon lady took him home to live with her family. And so began Edward's fantastical adventures in a pastel paradise known as Suburbia. From Tim Burton, the director of "Batman" and "Beetlejuice," comes an unforgettable fairy tale about a most unusual character. Starring Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest and Vincent Price as the Inventor.

Love this movie! It brings a tear to the eye and every time I watch it I want to jump through the screen and save him from every one. Johnny Depp was brilliant!

Johnny Depp is definitely one of the best actors! He can make me forget about who he is in every movie! Unfortunately it was kind of scary to watch it all by myself (I get scared easily).

Great acting from all the characters. A sad story of a boy who was created with scissors for hands.

Well I must say I enjoyed watching Edward Scissorhands even twenty years after watching it originally. Johnny once again did this character justice. Great movie from the Burton/Depp team.

Such a fine film, Time Burtin is so quirky. Who would have thought and Avon lady would make such a find! Its got a fine performance from Vincent Price, it was his last film before he sadly died of Cancer. Its also got Ms Ryder she is cute as a blonde too. Its a moral and sad film about outsiders and how they are treated, at least I think so.

A great fable. Dianne Weist is sensational as the avon lady. Johnny Depp turns in an excellent performance too. Another Tim Burton classic.
