Outstanding plot development and acting.

This movie is almost a comedy. It has several funny moments in it. Also imagine if Germany in 1943 did things the way the British did things. Then you get this movie.

I think this is one of the classic war movies, told from the German side, some great name actors - Michael Caine is the hero from the baddies and Larry Hagman is just like JR at war. Seemed a long movie in time, but it held your interest and for a bonus a bit of a love story and some nice English countryside.
