From the exploitation genre this is true misogynist romp. Its use of 3D is unsublte and goes for the cheap thrills market - making it more tiring than ever as it tries to draw you in (having the opposite effect). The way in which women's bodies (cf male bodies) are used and abused is saddening - this is meant to be a contemporary movie not 70's junk.

Total garbage - I'm really surprised that Cage allowed himself to be used in this way. The opening car chase scene was totally unbelievable (typical of many Hollywood pics); but we were really turned off by a deluge of totally vulgar language and simulated sex acts. We turned it off after 15 minutes. Do yourself a favour and skip this one! Steve

What nonsense. Nicolas Cage needs tons of firepower to enhance the credibility of his character but it does not enhance his acting. Wooden, predictable shoot-em up with car smashing episodes to keep the teenage boys watching. The 3D effects on 2D viewing are too obvious and distract from the seamless development of story. I kept seeing things fly toward the audience and forgot the point of the scene. Miss this one

What was Nicolas Cage thinking when he agreed to make this movie? Probably the worst piece of work I've ever seen him involved with. Gratuitous violence, implausible action sequences, unbelievable, unlovable characters.
