Best thriller I've seen in a while loved it what an unexpected twist

What an amazing movie!! Not at all what you would expect and in no way a traditional horror movie!! Very compelling and very sad but a beautifully told story with a perfect cast I could watch this again!! Would definately recommend if you are after something different!!

Compelling movie, well cast & unique storyline.

Unusual movie. It took me a long time to figure out what was going on. Maybe I am a bit thick. Anyway I think if you are into horror you would like this.

I wasnt to sure about this movie at first but after the twist it got good. May be a bit confusing but keep watching and you will get it. I enjoyed this.

Very well done local yokel comes good and returns to her home town with wealthy husband only to be pursued by red neck she left behind. Very well done, good cast and believable action and story lines. A little predictable but good viewing all the same.

Personally I found Daniel Craig great in this role. I liked the mix mash of thriller vs. ghosts. Twist was WOW didn't see that coming. No idea where the horror genre comes in to play though.

Brilliant movie. Superb acting. Daniel Craig never lets you down. The twist is genius. Thoroughly loved this movie.

Muddled, predictable and a little bit silly. Actually, more than a little bit silly.

I really enjoyed this movie,not horror but horrifying situation,great cast with surprising plot.

Oh dear. I really did want to like this film - with Daniel Craig in the lead and supported by Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, it should have been better. There is a good twist mid-way through, and a few mildly scary bits, but overall it fails. I agree with another reviewer who said this film didn't seem able to make up its mind about whether it was a good old-fashioned horror movie or a psychological thriller. I found it difficult to stick with it, but did. Can't really recommend it though.

Some great actors in this movie of confused direction. Was it a psychological thriller? a horror tale? a ghost story? It seems to be a mixture of all three, but I feel the director didn't pull it off successfully. Also the title of the film does not seem entirely apt. On the disc there was a special feature describing the actual house and how much fuss they made about it - but the house in the film lacked atmosphere for such fuss. For some reason, this movie was tame, considering there's been other movies of this type made with much greater impact. For instance, when the twist is revealed, it lacks any dynamic shock factor that would make the audience draw breath. In the hands of more adept direction, this film might have worked. It probably will make it to tv for the midday movie, but as a major film event, it fizzes.

An overall weird movie. It kept my interest for some reason despite the bad acting, storyline that's a rip off of another movie and a very fragmented story.

Just watched this and rather liked it. It was a little predictable but really enjoyed it anyway. Spooky but not gory. Really good movie.

Can't believe some people thought this was creepy???? It wasn't & for this genre of movie, is one of the worst I've seen. Don't waste your time on this one, its unbelieveably BAD!!!!!!!

Really enjoyed this movie, unpredictable and kept me interested through to the end.

The cast line-up had me thinking it would be a film worth watching - unfortunately I feel worthless and slightly disappointed with the human race in general for allowing such a film to be made. For me the film just never seemed to click. The dialogue was poor, the acting wasn't of the standard we've seen from the main cast, and the story line seemed disjointed and pretty unbelievable (supernatural goings-on aside). As for the name he gave himself in the film..............WELL, I won't spoil the story for you (if you do decide to waste your time hiring it) but, HOLY S**T - I have NEVER, EVER seen a name so badly thought out. I'm actually shaking my head in disbelief as I type this, but also laughing out loud (LOL for the kids), although I'm not sure at what exactly... It's one of those cringeworthy movie moments similar to a previous film of Daniel Craig's, Quantum of Solace where she goes babbling on about him being more of a man if it was just his smile and his little finger, etc. I can just hear the collective groan/cackles in the cinema now........don't do it to yourself, you can't get those valuable minutes of your life back.

Very good. Usually I can pick what is happening but this one I had no idea. Unreal highly recommended.

I thought with the actors assembled and the director this would be a great movie.But i was seriously disappointed. More holes in the plot than swiss cheese.A let down.

Good, intriguing film with good performances. Didn't pack the punch I had hoped for, but quite probably because I had read the screenplay before hand. That being said, it was more riveting on the page than on the screen.

Oh my! Oh my! Haven't heard that Daniel Craig & Naomi Watts played this until I saw it on Quickflix and now I know why! Craig looks so wrong in this and the acting also is. Welcome to the full clich?s world of Hollywood. This movie is a real mess, is badly written and is so ridiculous at times that it gets funny. The storyline was so obvious right from the beginning but I couldn't believe it so I kept watching expecting a last minute twist proving me wrong...and the twist came revealing an unrealistic plot ...fortunately James Bond was there to save the good ones (living) and they happily lived ever after. Worst flick have watched so far featuring Daniel Craig.
