Director: Robert Altman
Actors: Richard Gere, Shelley Long, Liv Tyler, Laura Dern, Tara Reid, Helen Hunt, Kate Hudson, Farrah Fawcett

No one understands the women of Dallas like gynaecologist Dr. Sullivan Travis (played by RICHARD GERE in one of his best ever performances). But when it comes to the women in his own life, things are a bit more complicated.

With DR. T & THE WOMEN, director Robert Altman is in sparkling form and he's brought together an unmatched ensemble of Hollywood's hottest actresses including HELEN HUNT, LAURA DERN, TARA REID (from AMERICAN PIE), LIV TYLER and KATE HUDSON (recent Oscar nominee for ALMOST FAMOUS). It's one of the sharpest films of his career and a canny, contemporary comedy that is also one of the year's most acclaimed movies.

This must be Altman's worst. What a disappointment! The incessant babbling of the women and their overacting gave me a headache. And what was Altman thinking, casting Richard Gere in the title role - his acting range is extremely limited

Sometimes funny, sometimes just plain nonsense. Could have done without that ending, thought totally out of place with rest of movie.

The antics of rich Texan women is not my choice of subject, but this is a Robert Altman film and one has to see it. The characters are more likeable in his other movies. The background material helped me develop more empathy.

Strange movie. No doubt the point of the movie was to explore what happens when a man(God) supplies all the answers to all women. Difficult to understand the breakdown that follows overload, and the acting talents of so many great female stars are put aside to achieve some strange end. Poor.
