Predictable and not the UK's best film has an interesting premise but it turns downright stupid halfway thru and never recovers. The only bright spot is the short policeman who was the best acting thu being in 2 scenes that doesnt say very much but I would had prefered seeing him in the bill or a reletive of Martin Lomax then the way he was wasted in this film. VERY disappointing and only an excuse for a bloodbath without the benefit of a strong storyline backing it up.
This was awful, it's not often I turn off a movie mid way through but this was one of those times. Not worth the time.
If you do like a thriller this is one a bit out there sometimes but worth the watch.
Where does one start? It is so bad that it is almost comical. The acting was poor, storyline was laughable, lines cringeworthy! As previous reviewer said, definately a sunday time waster..but come to think of it, there surely must be something better out there. Giving it a 1 star purely because it provided income for some actors who shouldn't give up their day jobs.
Obviously made on a low budget with film-student standard cinematography and an ensemble cast which ranges from adequate to utterly woeful in the acting department. The plot is standard slasher film fare - isolated cabin, deranged serial killer lurking in the woods etc, while the ending is sadly predictable. But, for all that, I've seen far worse. And if you're a fan of the horror genre; chances are you have too.
Verdict: a just passable rainy Sunday afternoon time waster
Wow, I hardly ever write really bad reviews, but this was garbage. The story is silly, the acting is okay, the cinematography is amateurish beyond belief. Didn't even have enough trash appeal to be entertaining.
Not a bad horror movie, was good to have an english one, predictable, guessed the killer early on.
