High above the city of LA a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. But one man has managed to escape detection...an off-duty cop. One of the great action movies - still brilliant to watch even to this day. Remember to always take your shoes with you when you go on a hostage rescue inside an office building full of glass!!!

Great entertainment. Action is fast pace. Bruce Willis was perfect for the role. The bloodied bare feet made me wince a bit (a Lot!!!)

This is without a doubt a true classic "Bruce Willis" movie. It has all the right elements. The story line moves along at a good pace, no one should sleep through this action packed movie. I recommend it as the first one to watch of the Die Hard series (1 - 4 ) . Yes it has been on TV so many times, however nothing beats watching it fully without commercial advertisers spoiling every 9 minutes promoting some rubbish that we simply do not need shoving down our throats repetitively every 9 minutes or so.......DIE HARD ....is a excellent movie.

Not just hard to get this guy to die, but incomprehensible: he should've been dead many times over. A good action movie, albeit with an improbable story line and the action in lift shafts, corridors and other strange passages is often quite confusing.

Easily one of the top-5 action movies of all time. A genre setting movie. Without Die Hard, there would be no Speed, Under Siege or The Rock.
