This is an interesting film to review in that it has both good and bad elements. The sets, cinematography, action and storyline was very good, and kept me watching ... on the other hand there is a lot of explicit violence and close up detail of distasteful things like kidnapping school girls off the street (which the film seemed to relish just a bit too much). Perhaps the biggest blunder is the English speaking actors, can you really imagine Saddam Hussein speaking English? So ultimately, while this film had a heap of promise, in the it was very much a fake 'hollywood' style result.
