One of Woody Harrelson's best performances in this sometimes funny, sometimes poignant movie that we found easy to watch.

Torn between giving this a 2 but it's better than that. Sad, sad, sad. Woody is very good in the lead role and it was well handled.

The studio obviously had no idea what to do with this, so they tried to sell it as a comedy. Big mistake. But once you get over the hurdle of false expectations, there's a good little drama here with a few laughs...but yes, Kick Ass did it better.

Pretty bad, which was a shame cos the concept was good. Kickass did it heaps better. The preview for this bills it as a comedy, but it's not, a couple of laughs aside. The Defendor character is actually mentally challenged, not just some idiot who wants to be a superhero, and is motivated by a childhood trauma to avenge his mum. Not funny, and suggest it be avoided.
