Aboard the luxury liner Argonautica, a mysterious and deadly presence makes mincemeat of vacationing passengers, leaving only a handful of terrified survivors adrift at sea. Enter a mercenary sailor and his crew, who board the ship in hopes of pilfering its riches--but instead find themselves the strange monster's next prey. Goofy fun from the director of THE MUMMY.

Started out ok, then realised it was some kind of deep sea creature that resembled an angry snake. Good movie for the die hard ship wreck fans but not one for the faint hearted, a few gory scenes in there.

A 'creature from the deep' movie. This is surprisingly good, the acting is average but it's entertaining and the monster is EXCELLENT!

As hokey as this film can be, it's actually quite enjoyable. In the director Stephen Sommer's work it possibly rates at least as high as the first Mummy, if not better. Treat Williams makes an excellent lead, and with good support from Famke Jansen and a surprisingly good supporting cast it is actually worth a look. The Creature itself is pretty cool, but there is ZERO character development. Just cool action, with some surprising gore. As good as B-grade gets...

not really impressed, no real story line. A lot of dramatisation of blood and guts but no theme and an obvious ending.

It had the occasional moment of humour, but suffered from extreme testerone poisoning. In a word, "Yuk!" Too many guns going too often. A shame such actors as Wes Studi and Djmon Hounsou lowered themselves to be in this trash.
