Rather spoilt by being too disjointed and not at all helped by brief depictions of stories various characters were telling about their past - their words would have sufficed. Similarly, lovely nature shots seemed to be in the wrong movie and had nothing to do with the story. Yet the film did offer some interesting insights into the social mores of that time and type. Ultimately underlying the bonhomie and sexual revelations were people hurting for various reasons and to different degrees.
