Strong violence

Director: John Madden
Actors: Helen Mirren, Sam Worthington, Jessica Chastain, Tom Wilkinson, Ciaran Hinds, Jesper Christensen

The espionage thriller begins in 1997, as shocking news reaches retired Mossad secret agents Rachel (Helen Mirren) and Stefan (Tom Wilkinson) about their former colleague David (Ciarán Hinds). All three have been venerated for decades by their country because of the mission that they undertook back in 1966, when the trio (portrayed, respectively, by Jessica Chastain, Marton Csokas, and Sam Worthington) tracked down Nazi war criminal Vogel (Jesper Christensen) in East Berlin. At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team's mission was accomplished - or was it? The suspense builds in and across two different time periods, with startling action and surprising revelations.

Good movie, great acting... not the average action flick...Great debt in human emotions of all concerned. Had to check to see if the story was true or not :), because the story is so believable and well acted. A bit short (113min) but there was nothing more to say....

A brilliant movie - really captivating! Great Dolby 5.1 sound too on Blu-Ray. Not quite a Five, but easily a 4.5! Steve

I really didn't like this movie. I couldn’t work out what was going to happen until about 45 minutes in. The movie lacked depth; it could have gone into the story deeper. Helen Mirren was lack lustre and Sam Worthington was forgettable but thank the director for casting Jessica Chastain who was a diamond in the rough..

Good drama movie with international espionage background. The casts are really good in their roles and storyline is properly developed with gradual tension increase to the climax at the end.
