This documentary is a rare gem: I loved it so much I had to watch the entire thing twice ! Although it was made in 1989, an absolute LIFETIME in scientific terms, it still seems very cutting edge (Although until I deciphered the Roman Numerals giving it's age, I was a bit confused by the 'space invaders' type computer images, and David's safari suit !) But don't let the fact it is 19 years old put you off: If you are fascinated by fossils and dinosaurs, you will be on the edge of your seat. From the opening scene, where a fossil hunter cracks open the most incredibly beautiful fossil while the camera's roll, this is wonderful stuff !
