An unexplained global disaster hits causing electronic devices to fail all over the world. Chaos ensues. An unknown alien race with an uncanny control over electricity begins an all-out assault on humanity.

In Moscow, a group of young urbanites find refuge underground surviving on what they can scavenge. Days later, they emerge to a ghostly, once vibrant city, but as they search for fellow survivors it becomes clear the threat still lurks. After discovering a military radio playing a recorded message, they believe there is a chance they can escape and rendezvous with a resistance group against the aliens. Despite enormous odds, they come together as a team, learn and adapt fast to protect themselves and embark on a quest to survive.

A potentially good movie, but undone by a pathetically weak ending - almost as if the movie budget ran dry.

I was a bit concerned about this movie, being set as it was in Moscow - with some Russian actors. The Trailer convinced me to hire it. The story-line, though certainly nothing really new was interesting enough to keep you guessing and worked overall. The effects were good - as was the acting. Worth hiring IMO. Steve

good movie, a mix of Cloverfield or I Am Legend with a bit of War Of The Worlds.
