Actually sat through this whole film to see which of the actors they'd kill off. Was surprised by one of the deaths because they were in a movie that made millions and the ones that survived where nobodies. Strange.

This was great ! A good concept with some reasonable acting and very refreshing to see something not placed in the good ol US of A.. Very much worth watching, especially if you like some suspense filled moments, I would recommend this to freinds

Do you believe this movie according to Wikipedia cost $30 mill to produce and has listed at over $64 mill at the box office. It's been a while since I've watched a really good movie. Any suggestions out there? This one is second on the do not watch list. The only positive is that it's provided employment for actors etc

This is officially one of the worst movies I have seen in 40 years. I agree with another commenter - should be called "The Dumbest Hour". Save yourself the agony. I need therapy now.

Really clever. Many fantastically clever sidestories. Rather boring start, very clever at about halfway through. It is incredibly hilarious by the end. A clever approach to aliens, and a delightfully economic use of special effects. I very much enjoyed this movie.

Should be called "The Dumbest Hour". Total waste of time. Acting so bad it'll make you cringe.

Dont bother with this one. I am a fan of sci fi but this was pathetic. The aliens were not very believable, the acting was poor and I was very disappointed with it.

Standard 'small group of survivors fight back against overwhelming alien invasion force' movie. Predictable plot but some cool special effects.

It just doesnt quite get there. It looks like the budget got spent on the actors and a couple of 'oooo electric aliens!!!' cgi. Really not bad, but the atmosphere is too thin - thats probably a function of poor production values and ability. s'ok all up.

Original concept, but dragged out and the end is left open for a second part. Typical hollywood. Ok movie, but not great. Effects good.

The producers of this movie found an ingenious way to save cash on CGI: Invisible Aliens! It's a conceit that should heighten tension, but it just reminds the viewer of other, better 'stay-out-of-the-dark' movies such as Pitch Black and I Am Legend. As a movie it's silly, cliched and derivative, and it doesn't have the impact of other recent alien invasion movies such as Battle Los Angeles or the one-of-a-kind Cloverfield. The characters aren't particularly likeable and the dialogue is ho-hum. Yet somehow it rises just above mediocre and remains somewhat entertaining.

Enjoyed this much more than the critics and audiences in general. Not brilliant. Some very two dimensional characters. Worked the suspense well.

I thought this movie was overrated at 3 1/2 stars. The special effects were good but the direction and the story line was seriously lacking continuity. I love Rachael Taylor but poor direction did not allow her to show her best acting skills. It seems that this movie was Strictly Made To A Budget and could have been excellent with a longer running time allowing for more detail in the story line. The scenes lacked progression and gave the impression of a series of disjointed pieces tacked together to make a movie,

From the first frames, I knew It was going to be crappy. The start looks like it's been sponsored by Starbucks, McDO... You will understand when seeing this then you've got the stupidest laughable dialogues you will ever hear and some dreadful pieces of acting. Looks like a rip off of War Of The World (Spielberg version) in the beginning but with looking cheap special effects then it falls deep into the ridiculous such as entering the subway at night, exiting what it seems like a minute later and it's the day! A terrible movie, laughable how bad it is.
