I missed the last half hour of this movie as I dozed off, but not from boredom, it's a long movie! Full of action and suspense, I was also mesmerised by Heath Ledger as The Joker - now I know why he received such accolades for his performance, he captures the madness and evil insanity of The Joker perfectly.

Good movie, but seriously overrated by the death of Heath Ledger. There is little plausibility with the sequence of events...the Police must walk around Gotham City with their eyes closed as how can this guy just walk around without anyone seeing him? All in all it took itself way too seriously for a movie based on a comic book.

The French Connection meets Batman Begins = awesome awesome movie, sets you up from the get go and never lets go until the gripping finale. Another amazing performance from both Bale and Caine and Heath Ledger is a disturbing yet genuinely funny Joker. With twists and turns galore make sure you take a toilet break before you press the play button cause pretty much the whole film is unmissable! AAA Viewing.

Great movie, Heath Ledger was so brilliant, just like any other role he ever played. Such a shame that his last role saw him covered up, but just brilliant.

Brilliant movie for about 100 minutes and then you start to wonder when it's going to finish. Heath Ledger is brilliant!

Impressive if bleak film - not your typical comic book-based movie at all. Hard to avoid thinking about the impact that playing this Joker had on Heath Ledger - with the inevitable rehearsals and retakes.

The Joker was maybe the best villian/terrorist you'll see. The character had no conscience or limits but was still likeable - well done Heath. As for the Batman, as with every single Batman movie, boring as Bats..t. Gothem City was not as dark a place as I expected. Still good entertainment. Enjoyed the length and more complex plot.
