This was an excellent movie for anyone with even the mildest interest in Australian history -- Curtin was portrayed so well by William McInnes

Shines a light on a very important stage of Australian history - William Mcinnes is wonderful in his portrayal of the Prime Minister. Also explains why the POMs weren't particularly popular... Well worth a watch - although it probably ended a littel abruptly for me!!!

I did not enjoy the first person narration style that was used and as another viewer rightly notes, without understanding the context and the players, this movie is difficult to grasp all that is going on in isolation of that other info.

A very well put together tele-movie, with the ever-reliable WIlliam McInnes doing great work. Would like to know a bit more about Curtin to see how accurate his portrayal was, but he was very likeable, honest and passionate. Not current day requirements for politicians!

Always interested in Australian history, but I was surprised to discover the struggle with Churchhill. Unless you already know the outline of the times, this film is hard to come to grips with.

Excellent, as Australians we should all know what was happening here, especially in February 1942.

Wonderfully historically correct. Not enough is known about what Australia was facing at the time of Pearl Harbour. All Australians should see this movie.

Interesting Movie! Have seen many movies on the Nazi invasion and war against Germany but never did I know Australia was facing a war on its own at about the same time! The political dimensions, though, still remain the same.
