Oh gosh I love this film! Haven't seen it in years but I have such affection for it. Spike Lee's nostalgic look at his childhood in Brooklyn is charming, colourful, funny and totally engaging. Great cast, convincing child-actors, hilarious cameo from Spike and a fantastic soundtrack, too. Watch it now!

Not one of Spike Lee's better films. A meandering slice of life set in the 70s in Brooklyn NY. Its not clear where this movie is going although it does have some great scenes. My favourite being the one where the kids sing along to the Osmonds.
