Boring - why did I watch it? Kept thinking it must get better with the write-up that others have given it.

Vince Vaughn is alwyas in garbage films. I don't know why he is so influential and popular, because I've never seen anything worthwhile that he is featured in. Okay, maybe Dodgeball. Plays the same character in every movie. Not a lot of laughs, looks like an excuse to film a movie while on holiday.

An excuse to go on a holiday basically. Don't force feed us your half-written script and poorly acted vacation 'film'. Bleurgh *vomits.

A bit cheesy, but worth watching! Plenty of hilarious scenes.

Boring for one third of film then all starts to heat up as they hit the East Side, may be enjoyed by those looking for relatioship comfort.

Really enjoyed this movie

Got a few chuckles but I think that was more out of sympathy for the actors having to deliver the weak jokes. The Bora Bora location is the best thing about the film.

I was told it was shocking, so i went in not expecting much... it actually surprised me, i mean, it wasn't GREAT, but better than i was expecting

It was so good I wish there was a real place like that for couples.

I thought it was dreadful the only funny parts were the ones you seen on the adverts

What happed at end? Our disc froze toward the end.. we weren't too crazed bout the movie but hate when you watch so much and it cuts out.. we have no idea how it ends? We're assuming the couple who wanted a child eventually had one?????

It's not really a drama, it's not really funny enough to be called a comedy and, frankly, it's not really a very interesting movie. Flat and silly, with the 'yoga' scene being absurd and juvenile.. I wonder at Jean Reno agreeing to do this rubbish, and seeing the enormously talented Temeura Morrison, from Once Were Warriors, as a bit-part island lackey was just plain embarrassing.. Don't waste your time..

Brilliant, funny, well made movie that makes you think about your own relationship.

This was great fun to watch. Laugh out loud amusing and entertaining all the way through! Loved the yoga instructor!

Pretty stupid movie. I have decided that Vince Vaughan annoys the crap out of me. I have seen two, and am not impressed.

Brilliant funny histerical actually. Some great actors showing their other side. Hire it today. well worth it. My husband loved it and we laughed so much while watching it.

Nice to be spirited away to the island with the couples, and there are some funny moments, but not a memorable movie worth recommending.

We have concluded that any film with Vince Vaughn in it is to be avoided. As an actor, he makes the the blokes who do the Lowes ads look convincing. I suspect that he has become Hollywood's Go To guy for low budget rom coms. This theory is further substantiated by the calibre of the acting from the supporting cast, the quality of the script and the ham fisted directing & editing which all suggest that cost savings were realised through utilizing individuals from the shallow end of the talent pool.

I should have read the member reviews. This movie hasn't a lot going for it. Maybe these actors had nothing better to do. At least It has kept them employed.

Similar to other reviews, I thought this had potential but turned out pretty poor. The ultimate insult was casting Temuera Morrison, or "Jake the Mus", as someone who bangs the gong. Jake, what are you doing ?

I liked this movie, easy to watch and quite funny.

Promising start, quiet funny, had potential. But.. this movie turned into a load of bs at the end, bogged down by vince vaughn 'doing the right thing' abit too much "correctness"

High expectations that do not deliver. Could have been so much better, no real funny moments when there could have been (found myself rewriting scenes in my head) luckily Peter Serafinowicz is funny just to look at. My actual divorce was better than this cautionary tale.

Dont waste your time on this lack lustere piece of trash. Typical Vince Vaughn garbage.

I loved this movie, it was fun and provided lots of laughs. Any one who is married or in a relationship of a certain vintage will certainly get the cracks/jokes!

Some funny moments, Jason Bateman is great! The rest of the cast is good too, but it goes downhill towards the end.

Generic rom-com that really isn't funny enough ... Vince Vaughn plays Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau plays "Angry Swaggering Football Jock" Favreau, everyone else gives average to reasonable performances. Nice scenery but that's about it.

Could have been funnier. I thought the trailer made it look funnier. Vince Vaughan just playing the same character he does in all these comedies.

Really enjoyed it and some parts had me in tears from laughing so much! Uncomplicated and fun. If you don't analyse it too much then it's a a great laugh. :-)

slow, long ,boring, painful to watch

Crack me up, almost embarassing at times. Don't look too hard for the funny bits and they will jump out at you when you least expect it. Even in amongst the humor ther is a lesson learned in this film (if you are game enough to notice it!) Good Luck. I enjoyed this one.

Vince Vaughan is one of my favourite actors - so it hurts to say that this was disappointing. There were some good moments - but a bit like Eric the Viking - where all the good bits were in the preview and the rest was ordinary. Order something else.

Plan and simple rubbish... Should have known by the trailer

I usually love Vince Vaughn but I have to say that this was pretty average. I think I kind of laughed twice. Definitely wouldn't watch again.

Nice flick, usual Sandra Bullock fair; uncomfortable situations attempted to be solved by poorly thought out plans that lead to more situations that don't work well. This romantic comedy, has a little more unresolved family issues

I loved it, it has troubles that all couples face, I definatly reccomend. Nice and light hearted.

I'm being generous rating this 2 stars. I wouldn't class it as a comedy, don't know what I'd class it as really, if boring was a genre it would fit there quite nicely. A perfect example of how the 'shorts' to a movie can make it look better than it really is.That will teach me to book a movie before any member reviews are available. Good film, often funny. Not a Vince Vaughan fan but liked him in this. Nice to see Kristen Davis doing something else besides Sex

Only just ok

Well I guess this is the result of actors thinking they can right comedy. Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn cast themselves in the script they wrote, and the movie they produced. Unfortunately they can't write comedy - there was not much to laugh at, despite their efforts to set up a comical situation. It wasn't helped by the miscasting of Jon Favreau, who I didnt buy as a man who beautiful,young, unattached females would find hip and fun within 2 seconds of meeting, especially when the place was full of good looking buff young men. He is far too old and looks mean all the time, so that threw me., because it wasn't funny either, and no jokes were made about the girls' interest in him. The sexual innuendo at the Reatreat also doesn't really translate into laughs. If a comedy sitcom can have a laugh a minute, why can't a movie be funny - yet I think we laughed only about 6 times in the entire movie. We also thought Faison Love was miscast, and to expect that a hot 19 year old was in love with him was neither funny (perhaps that was the intention) or believable.... There are better movies around that are written by professional comedy writers, or at least one would hope a professional could do a better job. It was nice to see Kristen Davis in something other than Sex and the City, yet her part was quite small.

This is a silly film that has the promise of a fun time, but for me, doesn't make it.
