WOTS NOT TO LOVE about this movie. it funny from beginning to end
Lots of fun, and will particularly thrill you if you love musical theatre. Whether you're gay or straight, the drag queen thing is rather hilarious. You gotta see this if you need a good giggle.
Good fun to watch, quite entertaining. Costumes are great and the songs just make you feel like dancing the night away.
Ridiculously funny at times. The way that they had to dash around to be women dressed as men pretending to be women was just outrageously comical. Very well done. I loved it
Quite funny and a good story on how friendships can last after so many years
The beginning didn't appeal
Great acting- a lot of fun
The weakest plot line i've ever seen. Still a funny movie though.
OK as a reasonable movie with some good scenes
I thought this movie was a great mix from Thelma n Louise to Priscilla Queen of the Desert to Sister Act.. If you liked those 3 n want a damn good laugh, you have GOT to see this one!!!!!!
it was a lot funnier than I had anticipated with a lot of good one liners - my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Best film I've seen for sometime a real fun film
Ok, so the girls annoyed me in the first 5 minutes- then grew on me, and by the end I was cheering for them and having a good laugh. Some very funny moments and a lot of great songs. Even my husband enjoyed it.
I loved this movie - it's way over the top but fun. Story is a twist on "Some Like it Hot" and the singing is good fun too.
Enjoyed the movie thoughly
It had some funny moments, and was engaging enough to watch, but was also pretty predictable.
Anyone who loves musicals will enjoy this film - Toni Collette is fantastic in this!
Brilliant!! Funny all the way through. Song and dance sequences well performed.
if you can't laugh at your self and others who can you laugh at women dressed up as men pretending to be men dressed up as women...i'm already laughing loved the numbers just fab and those girls could both sing
A bit slow to start with, but quite a funny movie overall.
Toni is funtastic and funny as ever. One of her best yet.
Funny cross dressing movie, if your a fan of Priscilla you`ll like this.
Very funny movie. Very entertaining.
An enjoyable light hearted film. I liked the fact there was a more serious side-line story about family acceptance of a cross-dresser.
Women pretending to be men dressed as women, no not tomboys but chicks in drag. You will either love this outright or hate it and turn it off, if watch it all the way through and let yourself go you will find yourself laughing uncontrollably and its stupidity. Imagine asking a woman we need you to look like a man on film, oh well Toni Collette was an easy choice.
One movie you can watch many times.
We laughed ourselves silly. This is a great movie.
What an absolute hoot. Great movie, great laugh, great fun. Weel worth the time. I watched it twice.
loved it,the scene where they feel her "false breasts" just cracks me up
Nearly "slapstick" comedy - a bit over done and forced. The singing was good (and the costumes) but Nia Vardalos doesn't come across as a very competant actor. Of course our Toni Collette is great but this film disappoints and is a silly drag queen farce.
Alright....I like Toni Collete
Toni Collette's worst effort yet!
Good at the beginning, good at the end, boring as hell in the middle. If you like Priscilla Queen of the Desert you will be very disappointed with this flick
Light-hearted and predictable bit of fluff for people who couldnt get enough or 'Muriels Wedding' and 'My big fat greek wedding'
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole movie. A great chick flick!
Absolutely fabulous glam - over the top fun!
Mmmm ok not all its cracked up to be.
A good laugh without the big budget typical of American films.
Very funny, ending is a bit silly. But all in all, a good movie
A bit corny but entertaining if you have nothing else to do!
This is a FABULOUS movie, it's Sorority Boys meets Priscilla with some Queer Eye and Thelma & Louise for good measure! The outfits and dance numbers are entertaining, but I'm not sure about David Duchovny though. All in all, a worthwhile, fun frolic!
