Conan the Barbarian (Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D) (2011)

Being a huge fan of the original, I really expected to hate this version and I didnt. Hopefully there will be another instalment of Jason Momoa as Conan in the future.

couldn't get to watch it as the ps3 would not allow selecting 2d and just kept saying 'format not supported'.

I liked this movie more than i thought it would. It had great fighting scenes, great special effects. I only watched it the other day and already forgotten how it ended so it couldn't have been that memorable. But i still enjoyed it. 3D was a little bit of a let down. The menu had better 3D than the actual film.

Boring, not much of a strory. The original movies were way ahead and very enjoyable. Poor effort this one.

The movie didn't totally suck. Obviously the effects and visuals are better than the original, but the script is far weaker, the characters are pretty one dimensional, and there is a lot of meaningless dialgue which could have been better told in action. I also missed the music score from the original. Go in without having too high expectations and you'll probably be okay with this movie. Don't expect it to be particularly faithful to Robert E. Howard's writing either.

If you like action movies this is by far the best seen in a long time, action almost all the way through, the story line is interesting and would give it a thumbs up! Graphics great Storyline interesting and I didnt get bored once Better than the Arnold version

i cant remeber the swarzanegger version very well,but i think this was a very good movie with action galore with hack and slash too bllod squirting everywhere!! loved it and i hope they also re-make conan the destroyer and from memory there may have been 3 conan movies with arnold,so bring em on...i give this a 9 outta 10

A good movie if its was a stand alone title. but as a part of the Conan franchise not so much. nothing like the originals but a good movie nonetheless.
