Coming Through presents, in two interwoven love stories, the attitudes towards D. H. Lawrence (who is either revered as a sensitive moralist or attacked as a scandalous pornographer). In one story, we see D. H. Lawrence during his lifetime in his hometown of Eastwood and in the second we see him through the eyes of a modern-day couple.
