I had such high hopes for this film as the original is one of my favorites of all time. So disappointed.

I saw this in terrible 3D at the cinema and thought I'd give it another chance at home without the deplorable last minute 3D conversion.
It didn't really help, it is still a movie full of wasted opportunities that feels like way too many hands were all over the script, pulling it in all different directions.
The only performances that manage to emerge from the rubble unscathed are Gemma Arterton and the Kraken, both of which are grossly underused.

Hideous. Hated it. Lame from the start - disappointing given some well known names, I stopped it about 20 mins in, couldn't take it anymore.

There are a lot of haters for this film- but it was really good. Sam Worthington’s acting is better in this than in Avatar. It’s a really entertaining movie and a very respectable update on the original. A really solid effort here- especially if you like your Greek Mythology.

Best movie I've seen for a long time. Loved it. Great special effects (loved the black Pegasus) heaps of action ... a film to get into and forget reality for a period of time.
