I usually enjoy a psychological thriller but this film, with its predictable plot, I couldn't watch past the first forty minutes. Julianne Moore films can vary considerably in their content, but I've seen a few too many starring her in some really dark 'ick' factor films and I hope she doesn't continue to choose dramatic roles in such stereotypical style.

This is a Canadian version of French film "Nathalie". The plot has been changed and more twists and turns added in this version, which also feels longer. I much preferred the relative simplicity of the French version. Having said that, the acting and direction in "Chloe" are overall not too bad. It was interesting to view both films and compare them. View first the French film "Nathalie" and then this film!

This is a curious movie, in that it is slow-paced but still keeps your attention. Wide-eyed Amanda Seyfried has been is several movies I've liked, such as "In Time" and "Dear John". I don't know why Julianne Moore is made up to look like a ghost for most of the movie, perhaps to heighten her character's anxiety.
On the whole pretty good, ands even my wife liked it!

Hmmm certainly not predictable. Great acting and very raunchy. Great casting and shall be looking for other movies by them all. This is how I found Liam Neeson. LOVE HIM.

quite a good movie. Has a nioce twist, but i had worked it out before it was reavealed. Not sure why J-A Moore feels she needs to get her privates out in every movie, but i guess thats whats shes used to. Rather explicit movie, but found it easy to follow and kept me intrigued with the plot of story. Worth a look if you are into 'twisty' style movies...

Chloe (2009) tells the tale of a married doctor who suspects her husband is cheating and hires an escort to catch him out. Throw into the mix obsession, sexual exploits and a decent cast, Chloe is a decent film, portraying an all too familiar story of sex and lies.

This thriller had real potential but left me needing more and loudly groaning. Groaning as in 'you've got to be joking ending....kind of groan' because it seemed full of energy, mystery and seduction and then it abruptly ended rather suddenly with an ending that my three year old could have depicted. A sexy movie with sooo much potential but missed the mark. Still enjoyable, but I certainly wouldn't watch it again.

No problem with the acting but the plot was woeful - the movie dragged and the twists weren't worth waiting for. I watch a lot of "slower" movies and have enjoyed them eg. Girl With A Pearl Earring" but this one was not worth sticking with. 1 star, even for the arthouse movie goers.

Waste of an evening. Disappointed with the actors and the poor excuse of a "plot" merely used as a platform for gratuitous nudity and sex. Story and characters were dead boring. Wish I had spent the evening yanking out my own toenails instead of watching this crap.

I found this film tedious. Yes, there's a bit of a twist and yes, Seyfried is spooky in her character showing she has another edge to her acting, but the film just fell flat for me. I found both Neeson and Moore to be unlikeable and unconvincing and their lives to be so completely bourgeois and boring it was a turnoff. Though I appreciate that was probably the director's intention, it didn't do the movie any favours'. The best character was the house: enough said!

It's better than most - more like a good 3.5 rating. Amanda Seyfried is such a beautiful woman and a wonderful actress and that's the reason for hiring the movie in the first place - to see her in another role.
Amanda is the centre of the movie - with everything revolving around her in a support role - you know there is a twist coming, but what is it? Very well done.

All the cast of this movie are great it just lacked a little for me I was expecting more along the vein of fatal attraction but it fizzles before the bunny boils but I did like the movie regardless .Yes Amanda Seyfried brings to life her Character..just wish she had more of a chance to shine
