A random wrong number to his cell phone sends a young man into a high-stakes race against time to save a woman's life in the action thriller Cellular. With no knowledge of Jessica Martin (Kim Basinger) other than her hushed, panicked voice on the other end of the tenuous cell phone connection, Ryan (Chris Evans) is quickly thrown into a world of deception and murder on his frantic search to find and save her. Jessica's life is in his hands, but what is waiting for him on the other side of the line, and what will it cost him to find out?

This is the best movie that Kim Bassinger has made to date, All the actors play their parts very well, The story line has its good points, but is a bit thin!! But the movie keeps rollling along at a good pace, I liked it and give it 4 stars

Not a bad movie at all. I'm a fan of William H Macy and he didn't let down with his goofball ways :D. Not a bad storyline adn I watched it to the end. A good popcorn Action movie for a Saturday night :D.

Loved it! Love Jason Statham, but even without him it would have been a great movie! great story line; great emotion - Kim Bassinger plays her role well and the fear is believable; loved the role of Ryan too by Chris Evans... excellent performance all round!

I found this movie to be a bit of a surprise and I quite enjoyed it.I wonder if it is possible to connect a smashed landline to a mobile phone,worth trying I suppose.There were good car chases and Kim Bashinger was okay as the distressed kidnap victim,but I've seen better.All in all,it was a pleasant nights viewing.

I couldn't work out why the cast was above average for what could have been a B-grade movie, but then I saw Larry Cohen's name in the credits. Chris Evans does a good job as Ryan and I am a bit surprised we haven't seen more of him since. We have seen plenty more of Jason Statham since and he does play a bad guy well. It's pretty well non-stop from start to finish and does a better job than a lot of similiar flicks.

Despite some obvious plot holes this film was great. Kim Basinger's performance was outstanding. It will keep you on the edge of your seat for 90 mins.

Not a really suspense thriller, not a funny action, leathal weapon type, something in betweene. Kim Basingers performance was pretty poor, but I still enjoyed this film.

It is a good storyline, even though it is a bit predictable. Some of the car stunts seem a bit unrealistic as if someone who receives a distress call would do something so outrageous.
