Same Bridget. Brand new diary.

Renée Zellweger is back as everyone’s favorite witty heroine in Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Not that Bridget’s counting, but it’s been six wonderful weeks, four fabulous days, and seven precious hours with one flawless boyfriend, Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). But when mischievous and devilishly charming Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) arrives on the scene claiming to be a reformed man, can Bridget find a way to make true love last forever? It’s the “absolutely hilarious” (Jim Ferguson, Abc-tv) romantic comedy that proves there’s nothing like love to send you over the edge.

Very enjoyable sequel. It doesn't hurt that Colin Firth is to die for! I would recommend to anyone who has seen the first movie.

If you enjoyed the first Bridget Jones, you'll love the second. She is still a very funny, fault-ridden individual whose life lurches from one disaster or error in judgement to the next, just like the rest of us. The bonus features like deleted scenes, director's commentary and quiz are worth a look too.

The first Bridget Jones movie was so fresh and hilarious. With this 2nd installment they have simply rehashed the old jokes and scenarios and tried to pass it off as a sequal. A bit disappointing.

Fairly much a repeat of the same story as the first one, with some scenes almost totally repeated. It does have its moments though. Bridget in the Thai prison with the bras is quite hysterical.

LOOOVEEEED IT. Bridgie up to her 'daggy' best, Colin Firth his 'painfully pompous' attitude to all life's lil' conundrums - Perfect. And, naughty Hugh - hilariously heinously harmlessly HOT!

Loved it. Not as good as the first - and sadly the DVD itself had a glitch which wouldn't play right in the middle of a crucial scene - but can't help loving Colin Firth!

Any self respecting woman would be insulted at this princess behaviour, I will give it the extra star above tripe as Zellweger looked healthy but lacking tone instead of anorexic.
