Rather boring and predictable chick flick. Ingredients: take one dull story line, throw in one rich girl and one poor girl, add a dollop of bitchiness and voila! You have Bride Wars.

My 9-yr old daughter summed this movie up perfectly "Mum, why are they so nasty to each other...aren't they supposed to be best friends?". Neither Anne nor Kate's characters were likeable and I found this movie excruitating from start to finish and was really annoyed I sat through it. Would have preferred to watch the NAB AFL footy (that's saying something!). A few funny bits but the whole Bridezilla joke quickly wears thin.

Expected more funny bits, predictable movie, predictable ending, glad I didn't see it at the movie's. But not worth hiring either..

Very funny. I laughed at the thought that this could actually happen between friends but in the end it all works out.... Watch out guys this may just scare you away from the alter!

Went into this with very low expectations, and it started off as if it was going to meet them, but then, lo and behold, it dispensed with most of the usual cliches and actually entertained us. Switch off your brain and enjoy.

Do not get between a bride and her best friend - Chick flick. Watchable but not the best I have seen from either lead actress.

Very very very boring. I expect better than that from Anne Hathaway.

A fun movie and I really enjoyed it, definately a 'chick flick' (my Husband fell asleep), a quirky story about two best friends and the whole wedding preperation thing some very funny, some sad moments. A pleasant movie with a nice, if predictable ending.

What a draw card with two great actresses. Chick Flick for sure! I thought it was going to be a great movie but was very disappointed not at all funny, but I did have a few tears. Kate Hudson had way to much eye make up on. Very predictable movie!

Good chick flick. Predictable ending but a good watch anyway. If you're into romantic comedies, this is for you.

I adore Anne Hathaway and love Kate Hudson, but found this movie so disappointing. Friendship war was taken way beyond the realm of forgiveable or entertaining. Could have been brilliant but just stepped right over the line. Very disappointing.

this is a definite chick flick , but was a entertaining flick. Both actresses have obviously experienced the pains of preparing for a wedding

funny quirky movie, definitely a light hearted chick flick (although kate hudson is a bit unbelievable as a YOUNG bride) i enjoyed it for what it is, don't try to take it seriously

OMG that movie was so boring. IT has been done a million times before. I couldnt decide which animal Anne Hathaway looks like more, I was between a Goat and a Dog. Such a disspapointment, just the classic way we have been brought up to believe how weddings should be like, Its obviously all about money for big coorporations and the simple things in life are overlooked!

This was an enjoyable movie. There were a few laugh but not enough to really call it a comedy. The actors did an OK job but nothing out of the ordinary. This is really a chick flick.

Quite disappointing. Seemed to drag on and on and the storyline was way too predictable.

Quite a funny movie about two friends who dream of getting married. Definitely a chick flick, but I saw this at the movies with a male friend and he enjoyed it.

Disappointing! Could have been a lot better. As the only male in the cinema I have to give it a big thumbs down (despite Kate Hudson being one of my favourite actresses). I'm fine with a feel good movie being a little unrealistic, but this movie just doesn't feel good! There is a twist you might not expect, and how they deal with it isn't convincing. I'm all for the predictable slightly chessy feel good type movie, but this one doesn't hit the mark. If you miss this one, you aren't missing much. Hint for the ladies - if your man thinks women are crazy when it comes to fussing about weddings, you might not want to give him any more fuel to work with!

I really like Kate Hudson in it, but wasnt sure about Anne Hathaway - i think she is maybe better suited to serious roles. I liked the movie overall, but it trailed off a bit at the end, when you just want them to do what you know they are going to do already. Good idea though.
