Ravn is the owner of an IT firm, and he wants to sell up. The trouble is that when he started the company, he invented a nonexistent president to hide behind when unpopular steps needed to be taken. When a cranky Icelandic capitalist insists on negotiating with the boss face-to-face, Ravn realises that to maintain his ruse, he has to take on an out-of-work actor, Kristoffer, to play the part. Thrown in the deep end, Kristoffer suddenly discovers that he too is a pawn in Ravn's game, the ramifications of which go on to test his moral fibre, or lack thereof.

Would have loved to watch this with my Danish boyfriend but the subtitles were shocking. It only translated half of each sentence and nothing made any sense at all.

This is a hard movie to review. On one hand it's a bold, visually edgy, amazing and different take on the comedy genre; on the other it's a story that takes a lot of effort to get sucked into, with some scenes that are quite hard to see the fun in -- it's just so weird at times. But again, the director warns the viewer himself in the opening sequence that this is a film you shouldn't take too seriously. I'd say it's one of those movies you're happy you saw because of how it challenged the film medium, but disappointed you spent your one-and-a-half hour on. I'd say see it! You'll be wiser on film after this experience, but it won't rock your entertainment world.
