I liked it. Glad I watched it. Only thing I couldn't believe was her newspaper not wanting to print it. With free press and all. A scoop the government were doing wrong. Worth a look and if that is even close to what mexican women endure God help us all.

Didn't like this movie at all. Considered the acting very poor and the storyline a bit unbelievable.

Oh my gosh! This movie is ridiculous. The dialogues and acting are completely unreal. The situations are so implausible and laughable at times! Hollywood bullxxxt guaranteed. Bad, bad and bad again.

Excllant with great perforances from lopez, Bandaros and Sheen and its def a grim and eye opening film but sadly the ending is bittersweet and left open for a sequel despite being based on a true story.

It has been a couple of weeks since I watched this one, and it still haunts me.I dare anyone to watch this and not think about the lust, western worlds have for consumables and at what cost to our less fortunate fellow human beings. This movie takes you deep into the belly of Evil desguised as human. You can't stop feeling great compasion for the victims and there familys, and at the same time imense dissgust and hatred towards the perpatraters from the physical torturess murders, to the governing bodies that turn a proffit at the victems exspence no one wants to be accountable, no one with great power wants to step up, If it wasn't for a hand full of local crusaders, and the fact that they made a hollywood film most of us would be ignorant of the horrors that have become everyday life for these victems and their familys. The question is when you finish watching the film are you going to turn your back, or use your powers to help your fellow humans in there plight against evil. No matter how small we can all do something to help. Remember many hands make light. For myself I will find a way to be part of the solution not the problem. Thank you for reading my review.

One of the most realistic films I have ever seen. Many women and young girls are raped and killed in Bordertown Mexico without anyone investigating the crimes. A reporter from Chicago gets involved and nearly falls victim herself. Such acts occur close to the American border and is caused by young girls enslaved into working for multi nationals for less than a subsistence wage. This is where the poison of consumerism begins.
