But now, after falling into the crosshairs of the FBI, he is forced out into the daylight, where he is driven to join forces with a clan of human vampire hunters he never knew existed – The Nightstalkers. Together with Abigail (Jessica Biel, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), two deftly trained Nightstalkers, Blade follows a trail of blood to the an ancient creature that is also hunting him...the original vampire, Dracula.

A little different to the previous two movies, however as action packed. I think I preferred #1 & #2 a little better, but this is still a good watch.

The Blade series has "jumped the shark" with this latest instalment.

The attempt to inject humour into this gives it a very different tone than the first two films - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. In fact, the whole film seems a little patchy and stitched together. It's still quite enjoyable and the action is great, but it just doesn't have the energy of the second film. Special Features only includes two commentaries. I only started listening to the one with Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds, but it seemed quite boring and uninformative.

This uses exactly the same scenes and dialogue as previous films. It's more comic book this time. Same contradictions and paradoxes ignored. The arch vampire needs working on. This is aimed a particular niche audience and it serves that purpose well so three stars.

Definitely my favourite of all three movies. I think the highlight was definitely Ryan Reynolds - he just gave it that twist to capture you.

Blade himself is hackneyed, ridiculous and completely unsympathetic. It's the new characters - the bad guys (Danica, Asher, the-big-dumb-guy-played-by-Triple-H) and the good guys (Abigail, Hannibal) - who make it enjoyable watching.

Good movie, it is worth watching the first Blade before this to get a better understanding of the story. This movie is great for the way it brings great comic book action to the screen.

This movie was right up my alley. I love the mystery of powers that are not understood; the history behind the myths and legends. I enjoyed all three Blade movies.

This movie really stunk. We like vampire movies and can tolerate some silliness but this was pretty bad. We gave it one star as we sat through till the end. Ryan Reynolds is pretty funny.

good to see some decent sword fighting and hear a dialogue with a dry sense of humour.

The only saving grace in this movie is the comedic one liners from the guy from "Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza" the rest is just brainless no plot action, whats the deal with Kris Kristofferson didnt he die in the first and then die in the second movie and then here he is again in this movie and guess what he dies in this movie, cannot wait for the fourth movie to see if he is alive again.

The addition of Ryan Reynolds to the series was a great choice. More story than the second and better action than the first, this is by far the best of the three.

Well you have to watch it as it is the third and it is the way of things. Didn't think this had the same energy as previous 2 and a couple of things didn't quite gel.The ancient vampire had no charisma as opposed to other vampire films. Should have spent more money on him and got a better one. And Poor doggies woof.

This movie is either made or broken on the comedy of Ryan Reynolds (Two Guys, Girl & Pizza) fame and the extra star goes to the Vampiric Pomeranian, keep and eye out for it. Otherwise it is an action film with some really warped armoury and enough to keep you watching.
