He killed for the reputation, and his reputation has become legend. Now, for the first time, comes the true story of pirate Edward Teach, the man who terrorised the seas. Everyone knows the legend, but few people really know what made him one. Now, meet one of history’s most notorious figures in this rousing and spectacular adventure, featuring an all-star cast that includes Golden Globe winner Stacy Keach (American History X), Golden Globe winner Richard Chamberlain (The Thorn Birds) and Golden Globe nominee Rachel Ward (On the Beach).

Pee Yew! This is a stinker. It was originally a Hallmark television movie, and is overlong, completely historically inaccurate, poorly acted, with phony fight scenes and some truly ridiculous plot devices. Give it a miss.
