Enjoyable on a number of levels. Seasoned actors playing their roles well combined with some truly lovely bird photos.
A movie about birdwatching may not be your cup of tea but this was one of those nice movies where everybody in it, even in the minor roles, is someone you know from something else. A good life-lesson about priorities, too.
Light comedy with some natural scenery in the background. The DVD contains several extra features (deleted scenes, "the making of", etc.). Reminds me a bit of another American comedy: "The Bucket List" in which we also see a rich man collaborating with a poor man, franticly travelling and trying to satisfy their dreams.
Terrific ,great cast ,wonderful story ,nice locations and some laughs.
Amazing . I loved it. So many twists and It was as funny as I hoped, a totally gut wrenching comedy.
Good movie, not as funny as I hoped but enjoyed it anyway.
This was a fun movie but I wonder if it wasn't just put together to give the actors something to do while they were waiting for another better one.
Entertaining and enjoyable movie
A great movie for people that are fans of the cast, the story was nice.
A sweet and gentle movie.
Enjoyed it when I really didn't think I would...Sort of funny sided along with doco and yet a drama based storyline. The 3 different types of guys, two their wifes & the other still at home with Mum & Dad...their obsession makes or breaks the families...watch to see...quite enjoyable.
Different... A very drawn out storyline .. a few giggles but not really a gut wrenching comedy...
This film has mixed reviews and I can kind of see why, they do seem to exaggerate the popularity of birding a bit. But overall I enjoyed the slight quirkiness of the film and the "different" subject matter is encompassed (at least for a non-birder like me.) It was pleasant, humorous at times, and overall enjoyable. It's not one I would watch again, but definitely liked this change of pace from current movies.
