A surprisingly touching movie with a lot of great things going for it. The theatrical aspect is so beautifully done, the songs are fun and catchy (The swan song "As I Am" at the end had me sobbing) and the performances are top notch. It's funny when it needs to be, serious when it has to be, and a genuinely fun show to watch with a beautiful message. It's the kind of movie you could watch even if you're not a fan of gay cinema, and for the record unlike a lot of gay films out recently this one is genuinely enjoyable for more than just the sex and hot guys.

Enjoyable but a bit broken up. It had too many breaks in the story due to flash backs and switching to other story lines.

If you like live theatre you will enjoy this. Great underlying message and nicely acted and overacted (part of the enjoyment).

I love love love this movie! The acting is great. The music is great. The story within a story was great. A BIG notch up from some very cheesy, bad gay theme movies. A must see for queens and their queer friendly friends and family! Watch it with your gran. She'll love it too!
