The sort of movie where it doesn't matter that the story and events are over-the-top and couldn't happen in reality. It's so genuinely funny without being silly that anything is forgiven. The situations and people are exaggerated and logic goes out the window, but who cares! Good action sequences too.

This is fun to watch some 20 or so years after it was done. Watch the Bonus section - to think that Sly Stallone nearly had Eddie Murphy's part???!!!!! What struck me was how good the music fit the movie... go the Pointer Sisters

You can't go past a good Eddy Murphy movie. Always bringing a special light to any role he plays. All of my family really enjoyed this movie.

Gotta love those eighties fashions! Still funny though despite the funny old cars and hair-dos.
