In the Disney comedy Beverly Hills Chihuahua (South of the border), a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua named Chloe (voice of Drew Barrymore) finds herself accidentally lost in the mean streets of Mexico without a day spa or Rodeo Drive boutique anywhere in sight. Now alone for the first time in her spoiled life, she must rely on some unexpected new friends - including a street-hardened German Shepherd named Delgado (voice of Andy Garcia) and an amorous pup named Papi (voice of George Lopez) - to lend her a paw and help her to find her inner strength on their incredible journey back home.

There are some movies that make you understand why so many great people in the film industry drink. This is one of them.

good for kids but still had a few moments the rest of the family could still enjoy. some really humorous parts. quite predictable but could for a change of pace from the usual pick of movies.

Very much a kids movie. The CGI is generally of poor quality, other than the rat and iguana, who almost steal the movie from their canine counterparts. It's full of stereotypes, it's predictable and its fluffy. It's Disney. For the tweens only.

Nothing serious, often predictable, but harmless fun. Kids will enjoy it.

This missed a real opportunity for good laughs. The aggressive part spoiled the laughs for me as dog attacks are all to real life.

Not ashamed to say I really like this movie...perhaps even more than my daughter. A lot of the humour went over her head and I don't think all kids below the age of 8 would like it. I got teary (twice) when the police dog got his badge back. Youngsters who are scared of big, mean, scary dogs may need a bit of reassurance from mum when watching this. For me this does put the wow in "chiwowa".

Ridiculous, extremely silly, but thoroughly enjoyable live action movie for kids (and dog lovers). We have a chihuahua so we had to get it out. Poor Jamie Lee Curtis-reduced to this. I'm sure she had fun though. We did too.
