This is a classic movie. Even though it is 52 years since its release, it has aged well. A must see for any movie buff!
Set aside 3 hrs to watch Ben Hur - only to find I had been sent DVD 2 - so no idea what was going on -but at least i saw the Chariot race.
Enjoyed it very much but stopped about 1/4 way through and broke up. Had to fast forward etc. before it settled down
What an epic classic! I can now honestly say this is one of my favorite movies. Charleton Heston was brilliant and given the age of the movie, the effects were great.
this was a fantastic movie I truely believe what jesus went through to save all man kind they all should believe there is a god and he created this world but man is destroying it quickly
I wanted to see this movie out of nostalgia and was not disappointed! It is still one of the best movies of all time. My memories of Charleton Heston will stay forever wonderful. I only hope that the performance to be staged in Sydney can live up to the original.
Awsome movie, and they did it all without computers WOW. Heaps of action, chariot races, sea battles, great story; this movie has everything.
One of the greatest of screen epics, made without computers. The chariot race still thrills after half a century. Magnificent on the big screen and pretty good on the small one.
a most impressive picture, even if it is a bit over the top, a must see for everyone.Ed
Great to see the old classics where actors can really act.
A timeless epic of biblical proportions.
Easily confused though with "The ten Commandments"
I seen this when I was a teenager....thought it was good then....and it lost nothing in a second watch,,,,good one for easter
I enjoyed it
Ben Hur has everything all rolled into one movie, very good.
Great Biblical epic drama.
