Most enthralling. A movie, that I would recommend. It is hard to imagine that the mind is so powerful and could do this to a person. The greatness of this person in this real life story can be attributed to his loving wife. She a real hero along with John Nash. (Russel Crowe is brilliant again)

This would have to be one of Crowe's best roles. Jennifer Connolly is also brilliant, as usual. Good to watch from start to finish and the finish should have you in tears, if you're capable. The fact that it's a true story makes it even better!

interesting film, though I found the mathematical stuff difficult to follow and the ECT disturbing to watch and painful also.

Rather disappointed in the cinematic depiction of schizophrenia, failure to give partner any depth or a story of her own, lack of detail for a biopic, and, dare I say, Russell Crowe's representation/interpretation of John Nash the person, although impressive at first, became tedious and undeveloped.

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen, I can't say anything in case I give away the plot, but the acting, the scripts, all brilliant. One of those that you just cannot miss, it will blow your mind away, very cleverly written and portrayed perfectly by Russell Crowe.

Crowe was magnificent, portrayed his illness very accurately. To have some knowledge of schizophrenia would help to follow the pattern of the story but not absolutely nessescary. Very moving and senscetivly done. Nash's wife was a star too.

This is the third time I've seen Beautiful Mind and it gets better every time. Russell Crowe was certainly passed-over for the Academy Award for Best Actor. It's a brilliant performance and I can think of no other actor who could have been so convincing. It's also one of Director Ron Howard's best films. This is a difficult story to make into a riveting film and fully deserved the Best Picture Academy Award for 2001.
