Some teachers just don't give an F. For example, there's Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz). She's foul-mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate. She drinks, she gets high, and she can't wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her bogus day job. When she's dumped by her fiancé, she sets her plan in motion to win over a rich, handsome substitute (Justin Timberlake) - competing for his affections with an overly energetic colleague, Amy (Lucy Punch). When Elizabeth also finds herself fighting off the advances of a sarcastic, irreverent gym teacher (Jason Segel), the consequences of her wild and outrageous schemes give her students, her co-workers, and even herself an education like no other.

This is one terrible movie! While there are some funny moments throughout the movie, like the trailer might suggest, it seems to make a mockery of anyone with decent values.
Somehow the most awful character (morally) is made out to be a hero, and those who are the most ethical are punished for doing the right thing. There is supposed to be some sort of love story in there, but if anyone could tell that there was any genuine 'feeling' I'd really like to know where it was.
The story/character development is absolutely abhorrent and definitely sits well below trashy reality TV in my books.

This was reccommended by a friend of mine and I must must admit I was very surprised by this offering, the acting by Cameron Diaz was superb but don't be fooled by the title this is not for the younger one's "plenty of use of the "F" word and the "C" Bomb so be advised, but adults should enjoy this.

When viewing any Cameron Diaz movie I always go in with very low expectations so I was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy this movie. These are the types of movies she should be in rather than the usual mindless slop she dishes out. Great cast but Cameron is the real shiner here. Lots of laughs.

I really really enjoyed this movie, but agree the language was totally bad & unnecessary, but apart from that, I got quite a few laughs out of it. Justin Timberlake was a complete waste of space tho I have to say. A good 3 and a 1/2

I'm not a prude and I don't really mind bad language in movies in it's place, but this was pretty bad! My other half and I watched it with my parents in earshot (bearing in mind we're all adults) and we were actually both really quite embarrassed. It wasn't a terrible movie, but a bit disappointing - thought it would be much funnier.

We were so very shocked we even made this choice. The title suggests a funny "bad" teacher, but she was disgraceful!!! The language, the hints at sexual areas that kids should never see so young, our child is 9 and we shut it down after 30 minutes of rubbish and fowl mouthed trrash. This is shocking that Cameron Diaz thought this would be a great movie to do. Not one person i've spoken to thought that this title would be so bad. Don't get this if you have children and if you care about what they view....even we didn't want to watch it when daughter went to bed. Disgraceful show!!!!

Diaz struggles to "act" and is appalling like so many of her B grade movies. As a gold digger she is a natural. As an actress, she is a good gold digger who relies on her past looks and plastic "barbie doll" looks. Diaz has less class than a pole dancer and got to wonder who she blackmails and/or did to get her first role.

It will never win a movie award but it is good fun to watch. Diaz is perfect for her role as the 'gold digger' female teacher and the woman playing 'Amy Squirrel' (a Lucy Punch)? was perfect as her rival for the affections of Justin TImberlake's character. I would hate to have my kids taught by these teachers but hey, it is a comedy. Although, come to think of it, the 'Amy Squirrel' character did remind me of some Social Workers I have known. Worth renting.

This movie is about a teacher who has it all, gets excited about the end of the school year, comes home to expect a marriage proposal from her wealthy catch of the year, and finds the mother in law & her no longer future husband kicking her out.
Back to her old now present job at school she has a new "don't care" attituted and her new focus is new boobs and the fastest ways to get the money to pay for them.
Its a fun story with a love story ending.

This is a very funny movie, One for the boys as Cameron Diaz is the main character playing a very bad teacher. This one is not for the under 16 years as you will see in the first few mins due to foul language. If you need a movie for a date night and you don't like to think about the plot, also this one will keep the boys up in more ways than just staying awake.

Of all the bad movies I have seen, this was truly one of the worst ever. It did not even get a smile, let alone a laugh from us.
The attempted humour was try-hard and in poor taste. The use filthy language to try to get shock laughs didnt work and fell flat. I was disgusted at some language.
My partner sat through to the end - I couldn't, and if on my own I would have turned it off after 5 minutes - I could see exactly where it was heading. My partner agrees it was one of the worst movies he has ever seen, and he has sat through a lot of shockers.
I can't believe this even made it to dvd.

We watched Bridesmaids a few nights earlier and found it genuinely hilarious in parts. We thought we'd get something similar here. Where that was a 3.5-4 star film this is only 2 at most.

I Cannot believe that this film has been compared with the brilliant Bad Santa (in other reviews than on quick flix). Terrible plot, mediocre acting from the usually wonderful Cameron Diaz, and absolutely no comedic redemption from the script. Timberlake and Segal were the only redeeming aspects for this film, however, this was not due to well scripted and intelligently crafted character development, but because they are good actors, with likeable personalities off screen. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes to watch shiny, attractive images on film with the sound on mute.
