Decorated Vietnam hero Frank Vega returns home, only to get shunned by society, leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart. It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus (where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skinheads) makes him a local hero where he's suddenly celebrated once again. But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren't doing anything about it.

A show to watch if you would like to just vegetate in front on the tube. Hardly calling it a movie as it fails to strike that class. Storyline is linear and monotonous, predictable and plain. In brief, ex-military guy rejected by the working society, turned to selling hotdogs, then stood up for those being bullied, and then became famous among the community and awarded honorary police officer. Lots of vulgarity involved too - perhaps intended to make the movie "rough" and action-typed - but failed to do so. Rating as in the same (poor) class as the show "tactical force".
