In this long-time favorite, eccentric inventor Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) turns a DeLorean into a time machine that inadvertently sends his young friend Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) back to 1955. Not only is Marty stuck in the past, but he also risks throwing the time-space continuum for a real loop when he disrupts his parents' destiny. It's a race against time (literally!) to get them to pucker up -- and to get him back to 1985!

"Hey McFly!!!" - "Biff?!!!" The original of a great trilogy which is so fun and so entertaining. With such a diverse cast of personalities this movie stands the test of time as does the other two which followed. I bet Eric Stoltz regrets leaving this film for as long as he lives! Christopher Lloyd as Doc Emmit Brown = Brilliant. If you have kids make sure they see these movies. A Must see (all of them!)

The plot doesn't bear too much thinking about, but time travel is always a nice fantasy and this movie does it so much better than some more recent ones. It's good fun from beginning to end, and totally enjoyable.

Great movie with Michael J Fox starring as the kid who has to time travel to sort out all his family problems. A must watch classic that spawned two equally good sequels.
