At Home with Julia is a 30 minute narrative comedy series about Julia Gillard her boyfriend Tim Mathieson and their private everyday life behind the closed doors of The Lodge. Revolving around some core themes: The pressures on Julia and Tim of balancing their relationship with the strains of Julia's job as PM; Tim's feelings of inadequacy about being First Bloke/a male hairdresser/not Julia's top priority; The growing sense they need somehow to solidify the relationship perhaps by getting married.
