Like all children of his age, Arthur is fascinated by the bedtime stories his grandmother tells him. His dreams are full of African tribes and incredible inventions drawn from an old book of spells that belonged to his grandfather, who disappeared mysteriously four years ago. What if all these tales are true? What if there really is treasure hidden at the bottom of their garden? And what if the Invisibles, the adorable tiny creatures sketched by his grandfather, really do exist? Now that could help save his family’s home, which is under threat from an unscrupulous property developer! Arthur is about to find out as he uncovers a secret message that catapults him into an adventure wilder than he had ever imagined. In just three days, he must find a way to the land of the Invisibles, recover a stolen treasure, battle an invading force of mosquito-riding warriors, defeat an evil wizard, win the heart of a very independent princess and somehow get back home again.

I really enjoyed this movie of man meets the ants, when child and their innocence meets the different species and together they win the day. Ahh why cant mankind be like this and learn to work together. I really fell for the characters as they had enough depth for you to want Arthur to win the day too!

Absolutely the best movie I've seen in ages. Great for all the family and so inventive, creative and imaginative. A wonderful story full of imagination and excitement. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen and watched it twice over again. Great for the family in total to watch.

This movie was very dissapointing considering the impressive cast of voices. My 12 year old sister wasn't even interested in the storyline.

Good for the kids and family, although gets a bit convoluted at times, and doesn't close some story arcs very well. Good animation and fun characters, with a quirky feel.
