How do you make a fortune from the bloodlust of millions? One sadistically savvy businessman (Samuel L. Jackson) has created an empire with his brutal, fight-to-the-death gladiator website. His newest warrior is David Lord (Kellan Lutz), a kidnapped fireman, now imprisoned and forced to fight for his life. To buy his freedom, Lord agrees to do a series of lethal bouts. But as the body count escalates, and with his most challenging battle remaining, Lord unleashes a torrent of bloody carnage and reveals a secret that threatens to tear down the entire enterprise. We thought this was pretty good, Samuel L is always a hoot, Kellan isn't the best actor around but he's okay and the fight scenes were well executed (if a little too violent for us girls).

For me this movie felt like modern day Gladitor (aka Russell Crowe) via the internet. Another review here has given away the plot (so don't read below if you don't want to know) because I think if you can stomach the violence - the twist is actually quite well done. It also illustrates how desensitized we all are these days to violence - hence showing everyone watching the action reality TV style. Samuel L Jackson - the definition of cool in my opinion. Frustrating at times but still worth a view.

I'm not one with a weak stomach but the senseless blood shed in this movie made me not want to watch certain parts... otherwise it was ok

Well I normally love Samuel Jackson, but absolutely hated his role...but wow, absolutely gruesome, but with heaps of action and a well put-together story I felt....I would never have guessed (as one normally can 1/2 way through movie) that Kellan Lutz was playing a undercover....I really just thought it to be a twisted spiel due to his depression of losing pregnant wife....DEFINITELY NOT FOR PEOPLE WHOM CANNOT STAND HEAVY VIOLENCE

I hope you have a full proof system for keeping this most violent movie from the hands of individuals who would turn physcio at this unnecessary blood thirsty movie.I ordered it in error. Should not be on your list.
