Apartment 12 is a romantic comedy about Alex (Mark Ruffalo) a self adsorbed young artist who is having a bad day. When he doesn't get the art show he's been expecting his girlfriend kicks him out and Alex finds himself living in a low rent Hollywood apartment surrounded by an assortment of neighbours he'd rather avoid. Rejected and dejected his life takes a turn when Laurie (Beth Ulrich) a country bumpkin from Colorado moves in next door. It soon becomes clear to Alex as convenient as it is to date someone from across the hall its a little inconvenient to have her still living there when you try to break up.

Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before selecting this one and I have to agree it was woeful. I too am a huge Mark Ruffalo fan, which is the reason I chose this move but it was bad, bad bad. I couldn't even watch the whole thing and started skipping through it after about 25 mins.

this is such a bad film! I am a BIG mark ruffalo fan and this is not even worth sitting through for him! Bad acting, terrible plot, even worse dialogue, and a whole heap of annoying actors. Don't bother.

This would have to rate as one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The plot is practically non-existant and the acting is woeful. Very tiresome and cliche.

This movie was pretty pathetic, even for a Mark Ruffalo fan. I think he's better playin a tough arse than a soppy sook. Storyline sucked. Never mind.

If you're not too choosy - this is a fairly run of the mill movie and the main character played by Mark Ruffalo is not very likeable.

The lead actor gave me some hope, but the plot spiralled into hopelessness pretty quickly and then the bad 80s music started. Bad idea to let the writer produce and direct unless they are David Lynch.
